Despite the light drizzle and overcast conditions, Mr. Heron made an attempt to secure a meal but was unsuccessful. The weather at the pond remained largely unchanged, with the high temperature reaching 87.6°F and the low dropping to 69.6°F. The day's precipitation was light, with 0.02 inches recorded. The continued mild conditions and stable temperatures have not altered the pond's ecosystem, with insect populations remaining active and squirrels continuing their caching behavior.
