Observations around the pond on August 18th noted that the east bank gray squirrels (Squirrel Pair) continued their moderate caching behavior. The recent overcast skies and relatively stable temperatures have influenced their activity levels, with no significant changes noted from previous days. In other pond news, The Broad Branch Heron (Heron_1) made another unsuccessful attempt at fishing after sunrise.
